Carthage Economic Development Park
The Carthage Economic Development Corporation is developing and marketing a 248 acre economic development park, which is owned by the City of Carthage.
For questions and potential incentives, contact the CEDC here.
Transportation
The Carthage Economic Development Park is located half a mile from Interstate 49, and less than five miles from Interstate 44.
There is a new roundabout to help serve this site as well as the nearby hospital and other future developments.
Utilities
Electric, water, sewer and fiber Internet will all be provided by Carthage Water & Electric Plant. Gas will be provided by Spire.
These infrastructure components will be implemented as part of the first project in the park.
Warehouse/Logistics
The ideal businesses for this park are anyone who moves or stores freight. Its proximity to two Interstate highways near the middle of the country allows you to reach 48 states in less than 48 hours via ground transportation.
Planning
A master plan has been completed on the site, though plat selection is flexible.
We have received a clean Phase One Environmental Site Assessment, an historic study showing no historic properties affected, and there are no known endangered species impacted by development.
A water delineation study is our next step in the process.
Light Manufacturing
If your business does light manufacturing, this site is perfect for your needs and already has the proper zoning regulations. If you’re a heavier manufacturer, we probably have a spot for you too.
